Tragic day...

My golden retriever dog Missy who stays at my mother's house was hit and killed today by an asshole at the wheel. I am not sure how many of you know my dog Missy. So i will be posting a lot of pictures of her that i am rounding up form my old desktop computer... Please excuse me for the photo spam...

Mischief, age 9 i believe also known as "Missy" or "Chief" was near the edge of the driveway when this jerk flew down the road with his trailer hauling snow machines. This guy has been known for going 90 down this small dirt road, he is so post to go 30. Missy was by the driveway when he flew by, he didn't bother slowing down or even stopping when he hit my dog. He did this in front of my mother who was just 6 feet away loading the kids into the car.

Missy was very important to me. Living at my exstepfather's house was very crazy and stressful. I was the least favorite and was treated like the child no one liked and cared about; my room was a basement with no heat and no door, 2 lights and a few holes in the wall form my step brother being pissy and hitting walls(just so happens he liked hitting my room's walls...) When my ma let me go and pick out a puppy from my aunt's litter i was so excited. Missy picked me, followed me around the entire day and fell asleep next to me on the steps as we waited for my mother to come back. She got her name form my great granmother who was living with us, she kept calling her a little mischief maker so the name Mischief stuck.
Who knows how i would have turned out if i did not have my pup to talk to and open up to. I didn't care if she would understand me or not; she was there for me no matter what and she stuck by my side. The therapy never worked for me but talking to that soft gentle face of her just made everything seem better.


She was one of the loyalest dogs i have ever met. I will miss her so much. Her and Scooter better get along in heaven.
